Reeve, Castro Fabra Earn Spots on All-Conference Team

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis men's tennis team's Sam Reeve and Marcos Castro Fabra were named to the American Conference All-Conference Team as a doubles pair while Castro Fabra also earned Freshman of the Year honors.
Reeve, a junior from Camberley, England, and Castro Fabra, a freshman from Madrid, Spain, went 8-5 as a doubles pair this season, with four wins each at lines one and two. The duo started the season 5-0 and picked up wins against several NCAA Tournament teams including Ole Miss, Princeton and Tennessee Tech. In the ITA rankings, Reeve/Castro Fabra were ranked as high as No. 57.
Castro Fabra posted a spectacular freshman season, posting an 8-5 record in the Spring and winning his first seven matches including wins over Nebraska, Alabama, Northwestern, Ole Miss and Indiana.
