Tigers Defeat No. 67 Wichita State in 4-3 Decision

WICHITA, Kan. The University of Memphis women's tennis team defeated 67th-ranked Wichita State with a 4-3 decision Thursday afternoon.

After Memphis took the doubles point after wins from Leonie Moeller/Emily Meyer and Alice Amendola/Clemence Thouard, Moeller put Memphis up by two with a win over 123rd-ranked Xin Tong Wang in singles competition.

Sofia Mykhailets picked up another singles win after a 6-0, 1-6, 6-4 win before Emily Meyer got the match winning victory in a tiebreaker over Kris Kudryavtseva.

UP NEXT:
Memphis will be back in the Bluff City on Saturday, March 15 when it hosts 24^th-ranked Clemson. First serve is set for 1 p.m. at Leftwich Tennis Center.
