Koppova, Mykhailets Advance in Opening Day of American Conference Fall Championships

TULSA, Okla. – University of Memphis women's tennis players Sofiia Mykhailets and Natalia Koppova both won matches in today's American Conference Fall Championships with Mykhailets moving on to the Quarterfinals in singles play.
While Mykhailets earned a first-round bye, Koppova took a three-set thriller over Nera Tesankic (UAB) to advance to the round of 16 to open the day. Mykhailets secured her spot in the Quarterfinals after a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Alexia Patru from Florida Atlantic while Koppova suffered a loss to Divina Ratkovic from Rice.
Mykhailets will face off with Ni Xi from Charlotte starting at 11:30 a.m.
Emma Dvoracek and Clemence Thouard earned a bye in the first round of doubles play and will take on Francesca Miglio/Melisa Senli from South Florida tomorrow starting at 9 a.m. Draws and results can be found HERE.
