Tigers Fast Start Not Enough to Down No. 8 Kentucky

LEXINGTON, KY. – On the first leg of the team's road swing, Memphis tried to down the 8th-ranked Wildcats of Kentucky after a fast start in doubles. But individual matches down the stretch would be the Tigers downfall as they suffered the 4-3 loss.

After the Tigers took the doubles point following wins from Conor Gannon/Sam Reeve and Pablo Alemany/Michael Kouame, Gannon picked up the first individuals win for Memphis after a 6-4, 7-6 [7-2] victory over 39^th ranked Jaden Weekes.

Moritz Kudernatsch picked up another singles win taking a 6-4, 1-6, 6-3 win
