MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis track and field team is back in action this weekend, competing at the Ole Miss Classic in Oxford, Mississippi, on Friday (March 22) and Saturday (March 23).
The Tigers kicked off the outdoor season in Memphis last weekend at the Rhodes Invitational and were highlighted by 11 individual first-place finishes as a team.
"This meet we will run more of our primary events," head coach Kevin Robinson said. "Excited to see what our hurdlers and relay teams can start with. I'm also excited to see the throws group continue to improve. Jadaja [Baxter] will be jumping for first time outside, so we definitely have a lot to keep my eye one. I'm hoping we continue to build more and more competitive maturity and handle the elements a little better."
