Nov 25, 2024 | Softball
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis softball has announced its 2025 schedule, the first season with head coach Trena Prater at the helm of the program. The 2025 slate features 54 games, beginning with the 901 Classic at Tiger Softball Complex from Feb. 7-9.
"Our girls have been training at a high level this fall to be ready to compete in the spring at an elite level and represent Memphis softball in a way that has never been seen before here," said Prater. In regard to beginning her first year at Memphis at home, Prater said, "I'm eager to open up our season at home with our 901 Classic Tournament. I can't wait to see all our Memphis fans fill up Tiger Stadium this season."
The Tigers will be on the road for 32 contests, in which Prater said, "This season, we will learn to be road warriors, as we compete on the road for a majority of the season."
Memphis opens the season with multiple invitationals, beginning with the 901 Classic, in which Memphis will host Rust College, Hampton and Lindenwood.
