Memphis Softball Announces Fall 2025 Schedule

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis softball head coach Trena Prater announced the Fall 2025 Softball slate. The schedule features eight contests, with six taking place at Tiger Softball Complex. Memphis travels to Tuscaloosa and Jacksonville to take on Alabama and Jacksonville State, respectively.

"We're excited to get on the field," said Prater. "This season, with a great mix of returners, five freshmen and nine transfers, I think we have a good mix of old and new that is going to continue the transition of the culture of the program and continue to strive for competitive greatness. We have added some road games against Alabama and Jacksonville State to make sure that we are prepared for the environment and getting those experiences in the fall. I am really looking forward to getting some good crowds this fall to support our girls and to represent Memphis."

The fall season opens with a home game against Mississippi Delta Community College on Oct. 3. The next day, Memphis hosts Delta State and Rhodes College in a doubleheader scheduled for 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., respectively. The Tigers host Arkansas State-Newport on Oct. 5 as Memphis' fourth competition of that weekend.

The following weekend on Oct. 11, Memphis travels to Alabama to face the Crimson Tide before finishing the weekend at Jacksonville State against the Gamecocks on Oct. 12.

Memphis finishes the fall with an Oct. 19 game against NCAA Regional participant, Jackson State, followed by the fall finale against Christian Brothers on Oct. 24.
