
Tigers Hit the Road to Wichita State and Tulsa

Memphis, Tenn. – The University of Memphis volleyball team will be on the road this weekend, playing at Wichita State on Friday at 7 p.m. and at Tulsa on Sunday at 1 p.m. Both matches will be available to stream on ESPN+.
The Tigers are looking to carry their momentum into the weekend after sweeping North Texas.
Memphis has accumulated 907 kills this season, led by Hannah Jones with 213 so far. Tiffany Snook follows behind with 143, while Clara Bednarek has tallied 139.
Memphis averages 11.66 assists per set, led by Jordan Heatherly, who has recorded 664 assists on the season. Heatherly has also tallied 32 aces and is second in the AAC. Memphis leads the conference averaging 1.90 aces per set.
Abigail Schlueter leads Memphis with 4.01 digs per set, placing her fourth in the AAC. Schlueter has 285 digs on the season.
Wichita State (10-10, 5-3) is coming off a five-set loss to East Carolina. The Shockers are led by Middle Blocker Morgan Stout. Stout has accumulated 205 kills and has gotten her hands on 64 blocks so far.
Tulsa (13-7, 5-3) is coming into the weekend off a 3-0 sweep over UTSA. The Golden Hurricane are led by an arsenal of hitters. Tytiana Johnson has recorded 109 kills and is ranked second in the conference with a .354 hitting percentage. Johnson is also second in the conference in blocks. Setter Brittany Bacorn leads the conference in service aces, averaging .047 per set.
