Tigers Tied for Third After Two Rounds of Lady Red Wolves Classic

JONESBORO, Ark. – The University of Memphis women's golf team heads into tomorrow's final round of the Lady Red Wolves Classic in a tie for third place while Nutsanun Khamphueng holds a share of fifth place at one over par.
At 13 over par through two rounds, the Tigers are currently tied with Little Rock while looking at a nine-stroke difference between them and first place, Louisiana-Monroe.
Khamphueng, who goes into tomorrow's final round in a four-way tie for fifth place, saw great success in the opening round of the day, collecting birdies on holes two, three and 12 to take a one under par score into round two. But four bogies on the second round around the course put her at a score of 145 for the day.
Carla Van Remmen, Emily Wilson and Claire Swathwood all go into tomorrow's final round at five over par while Tilly Garfoot, Julia Jarvholm (Ind.) and Nicole Strydom (Ind.) all take scores of seven over par, eight over par and 27 over par, respectively, into tomorrow.
