No. 13 Tigers Travel to Wichita State Sunday Looking for 10th-Straight Win

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The No. 13 Memphis Tigers put their winning streak on the line Sunday morning with an American Athletic Conference trip to Wichita State. The game time is set for noon central and can be seen on ESPN2.
Memphis (14-2) sits atop the league standings as the only AAC squad at 3-0 entering the weekend. It's the first time the Tigers have started a conference season 3-0 since 2012-13, their final season as a member of Conference USA.
The Tigers have won six-straight games against the Shockers (8-7, 0-2 AAC) and eight of the last nine meetings overall.
Wichita State's only win over the Tigers at home in the last 48 years came Jan. 9, 2020 (76-67). Wichita State is 1-8 against Penny Hardaway with six-straight setbacks.
The Shockers are riding a four-game skid after falling at Temple last Sunday, 68-61.
Offensively they are led by Colby Rogers' 15.9 points per game and 38.5 three-point percentage. Dalen Ridgnal (7.6 ppg) paces the squad with 7.8 rebounds per game.

- Wichita State is under the direction of Paul Mills, who took over after serving as head coach at Oral Roberts the last six seasons.
- Harlond Beverly has 35 assists over his last nine games to lead the team in overall dimes this season with 46.
- Colby Rogers (15.9 ppg; leading scorer) has made a three-pointer in all 15 games this season and multiple in 12 of the 15. He leads the AAC in three-pointers per game (2.67) and three-pointers made (40).
- Rogers' streak of 15-straight games with a made three-pointer is tied for the 10th longest in school history.
- Wichita State ranks 10th nationally in defensive rebounds per game and ninth in rebounds per game.
