Tiger Softball Announces Aaliyah Dixon to 2024 Roster

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Head Memphis Tiger softball coach Stephanie VanBrakle Prothro announces Aaliyah Dixon to her 2024 roster.
Dixon, a 5'9" outfielder out of Jackson, Miss., comes to Memphis after a successful two years at the Jones College where she recorded a .331 batting average, a .642 slugging percentage along with 20 home runs, 76 RBIs and 56 stolen bases.
"I am excited Aalyiah is joining us here at Memphis. She is an athletic outfielder who I think still has lot of room for growth and development." VanBrakle Prothro shared. "She will give us some speed at the plate and pop in her bat as well. I am looking forward to seeing what she does in the Memphis uniform."
Dixsn is a two-time First Team All-MACCC, Second Team All-Region and a NFCA Second Team All-American. She was also a Rawlings Gold Glove recipient.
"It's been a dream to play Division I softball since I can remember." Dixon remarked. "So blessed I get to spend the next two years at Memphis!"
