Memphis Softball Signs Hannah Price to 2024 Roster

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Head Memphis Tiger softball coach Stephanie VanBrakle Prothro has added Hannah Price to her 2024 roster.
Price, a pitcher out of Greenhill, Ala., comes to Memphis after a successful year at the University of North Alabama where she recorded an ERA of 2.39 and an opponent batting average of .250. Price also notched six wins and over the course of 55.2 innings pitched, struck out 41 batters.
"We are thrilled to be adding Hannah Price to the Memphis Softball family." VanBrakle Prothro shared. "She will be a great addition for us in the circle and I can't wait to see what she does here at Memphis."
Price also helped lead UNA to a 34-17-1 record during the 2023 season. She tallied two shutouts and one save during her debut season with a season high seven strikeouts against Mississippi Valley State.
"From the moment I stepped on campus, I knew that Memphis was the right place for me. The Coaching staff, the girls, and the administration made me, and my family feel so welcomed." Price said. "I am so excited to be a part of an amazing organization with girl and coaches who share the same passion as me. I hope I can help to lead Memphis to an AAC championship in the future. I am so excited to for my future with Memphis softball."
