Memphis Softball Signs Kaleigh Martin to 2024 Roster

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Head Memphis Tiger softball coach Stephanie VanBrakle Prothro has added Kaleigh Martin to her 2024 roster.
Martin, a right-handed pitcher out of Lumberton, N.C., comes to Memphis after a successful prep career at Lumberton High School where she recorded an ERA of 2.32 and four no hitters, making her fifth in the state of North Carolina for no hitters her senior season. Martin also notched a win percentage of .750 and over the course of 99.2 innings pitched, struck out 138 batters.
"I am excited about the addition of Kaleigh Martin." VanBrakle Prothro shared. "She is a pitcher from North Carolina and will add another arm to the circle for us."
Martin also helped lead Lumberton High School to a school record 23-win season adding a .308 batting average and two home runs to her stat line in 2023. She was named the Robeson County Pitcher of the Year by the Robesonian
