Memphis Athletics Holds “Fast Break into Building Your Brand” presented by FedEx

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Athletics' MaximUM Name, Image & Likeness resource program and its 901Women initiative launched in the fall honoring 50 years of competitive and academic excellence within its women's sports programs partnered with FedEx for a branding event for Memphis' female student-athletes at the Penny Hardaway Hall of Fame.
"Fast Break into Building Your Brand" featured Natalie McLean, FedEx Branding Specialist, and a group of speakers who shared their expertise on personal branding, including Memphis Director of Name, Image & Likeness Bridget Perine and Memphis Director of Student-Athlete Development Emma Such. McLean led a discussion on the importance of developing a personal brand and how it can help female student-athletes achieve their personal and professional goals.
"I was thrilled to share my branding experience with Memphis' female student-athletes at 'Fast Break into Building Your Brand,'" McLean said. "Personal branding is essential for success in today's world, and I want to help these female athletes learn how to build a personal brand that will help them achieve their goals. Their interest in learning more about brand-building and their engagement in today's programming was exciting to see."
"Fast Break into Building Your Brand" marks the latest event curated by 901Women to continue its goal of empowering current female student-athletes and coaches who proudly represent the University of Memphis. Along with MaximUM, Memphis' acclaimed education program designed to help student-athletes get the "maximum" out of their brands in the Name, Image and Likeness era, Memphis Athletics is committed to providing best-in-class opportunities for its student-athletes off the fields of competition in addition to on.
