HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
• Notre Dame struck first, scoring five runs in the first inning.Â
• The Tigers cut the deficit by one, with Rachel Britton scoring in the bottom of the fifth inning.Â
• The Irish bounced back in the top of the sixth inning scoring four more runs, with Mac Vasquez hitting a two-RBI single and scoring a run.Â
NOTABLESÂ
• Britton scored her first run of the season in the fifth inning.Â
• Hallie Siems recorded three strikeouts.Â
