VanBrakle Prothro Announces 2023 Schedule

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Head softball coach Stephanie VanBrakle Prothro has announced her first schedule as head coach of the Tigers.
"This fall, the focus with the team was competing, discipline, trusting the process and having a growth mindset," said VanBrakle Prothro. "I think we can approach this schedule the same way, focus on doing the little things well, trusting in the process, growing through each game, and competing each inning. We have some really good competition in non-conference play which will help get us ready to compete in conference."
Memphis will start the season on the road with three consecutive tournaments in February taking place in San Diego, Calif., Jacksonville, Fla., and Chattanooga, Tenn. before coming back to Memphis for March to host 12 different teams.
Other non-conference matchups include Ole Miss, UT-Martin, Central Arkansas and Mississippi State.
The Tigers will open American Athletic Conference play March 24-26 when they host Houston.
