Memphis trails the all-time series 42-67 vs. Tulane, which includes the Green Wave's three-game sweep in Memphis earlier this season. The Tigers have dropped 10 straight games to Tulane and haven't won a road series vs. the Green Wave since 2007. Tulane leads the AAC in doubles (119) and runs (352) despite the second fewest home runs (49) in the conference. Individually, Ethan Groff leads the AAC with a .404 BA, 13th in the country, as well as OBP (.503), 18th in the nation.
The Green Wave enter the final week of the regular season after getting swept at Wichita State and outscored 24-11 over the three-game set. Tulane has dropped three consecutive AAC series since the Green Wave took two of three at home from East Carolina in late April. Tulane won a home series vs. Mississippi State in March and fell in a single game to LSU in their only Power Five matchups this season. Thursday's series opener will also be the first game for interim head coach Jay Uhlman who took over the Tulane program earlier this week.
