Memphis Set for Busy Week with Five Home Games

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After spending most of the last two weeks playing on the road, the Memphis Tigers (18-18, 4-8) are set to begin a 10-game homestand, with a Tuesday matchup with Mississippi Valley State (10-17-1, 4-12), a Wednesday tilt vs. Arkansas – Pine Bluff (8-26-1, 5-12), and a weekend series vs. Wichita State (13-27, 2-10).

The Tigers lead the all-time series with Mississippi Valley State (MVSU) 8-1, with six straight wins, all at home. Memphis picked up an 8-1 win in 2019, a 14-0 shutout win in 2018, and a 13-4 victory in 2017. The Devils were swept by Nicholls, who the Tigers picked up a win over earlier this season, and went 2-0-1 vs. Arkansas – Pine Bluff, who Memphis hosts Wednesday.
