Morton Named to Fourth AAC Weekly Honor Roll

MEMPHIS, Tenn.- After leading the team at the plate this past weekend, senior Memphis softball player Gracie Morton has found herself on the American Athletic Conference's Weekly Honor Roll for a fourth time this season, the conference announced Monday.

Morton, an outfielder from Burleson, Texas, went 6-10 from the plate this past weekend with an extra base-hit. She scored one run in the team's 5-3 win over Tulsa on Friday afternoon and totaled seven bases over the three-game series.

Morton currently leads the team with a .407 BA, 59 hits, 29 runs scored, four homeruns and 81 total bases.
