MEMPHIS, Tenn. – For the fourth straight week, the Memphis Tigers have representation on the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll, as 3B Logan Kohler earned the recognition for his play over Memphis' three-game sweep at Samford this past weekend.
With three-hit performances in each of the series' final two games, Kohler finished the series 6-12 (.500) with two doubles, a home run, four RBIs, and four runs scored. The third baseman reached base twice more via free pass and finished the weekend with a .571 OBP and .917 SLG.
Kohler now has seven multi-hit games on the season, which include three three-hit games. He also recorded multiple RBIs in two of the games vs. Samford and has four multi-RBI games in his last five starts. Kohler has started all 13 games for Memphis and leads the team with a .400 BA, four home runs, 14 RBIs, .464 OBP, and .720 SLG.
Last week, 2B Austin Baskin earned the same recognition, while both RHP Connor Shamblin (twice) and LF Ian Bibiloni garnered the honor over the season's first two weeks.
