Castillo, Henry Ready for NCAA Rifle Championships

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis Rifle sophomore Kaylene Castillo and junior Angeline Henry will travel to USAFA, Colo. to compete in the 2022 NCAA Rifle Championships. The two-day event gets started on Friday, March 11 with the smallbore competition and will conclude on Saturday, March 12 with air rifle.

Castillo qualified individually for the smallbore championship, while Henry earned a spot in the air rifle competition. Action gets underway at 1:00 p.m. CT on Friday and 12:15 p.m. CT on Saturday, with live targets and live video available at GoTigersGo.com.

On the season, Henry led the Tigers with averages of 577.583 in smallbore, 591.667 in air rifle and 1169.250 aggregate. Castillo posted averages of 571.917 in smallbore, 587.25 in air rifle and 1159.167 aggregate on the year.
