MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following their second consecutive American Athletic Conference Championship, the Memphis Tiger women's soccer team will head up the Mississippi River to take on A10 Champions, Saint Louis.
Memphis (9-5-5) is coming off a stunning AAC Championship run that saw them take down East Carolina, UCF and SMU in route to their third conference crown. Shae Taylor knocked in the game-winning goal in the 99' against SMU. Claire Wyville would make a diving stop in the second overtime to secure the win.
Taylor, Wyville, Grace Stordy, Haylee Spray and Lilly Huber were all named to the All-Tournament Team.
Saint Louis (20-1) won their 18th consecutive match of the season after sweeping their opponents in the Atlantic 10 Conference Championship. The Billikins have allowed just nine goals this entire season with goalkeeper Emily Puricelli collecting all 20 wins.
This will be the fifth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance for the Tigers. Game time and coverage of the match will be available at a later date.
