No. 12 Memphis Faces No. 14 Jacksonville State, No. 4 Ole Miss this Weekend

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The No. 12-ranked University of Memphis rifle team will hit the road to face No. 14 Jacksonville State on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 8 a.m. before returning home to host No. 4 Ole Miss at the R.F. Fogelman Rifle Range on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 9 a.m. Live targets for both matches can be found at GoTigersGo.com.
"We're excited to get back on the road this weekend for our matchup against JSU," head coach Morgan Phillips said. "I think we've been able to fine tune things since our match against Army and we're going into this match confident. Sunday's match against Ole Miss will also be a great opportunity for us to apply what we learn on Saturday."
The Tigers enter the weekend with a record of 1-3 overall on the season and a mark of 1-2 in Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) action. On Oct. 23, Memphis defeated No. 9 Army, 4676-4628, as senior Angeline Henry set school records with her scores of 591 in smallbore and 1186 in aggregate.
Jacksonville State enters Saturday's match with a record of 2-2 on the year, with wins over UT Martin and the Citadel. Ole Miss is 3-1 on the season, with victories over Murray State, UT Martin and Army.
