Tigers Falter Against Temple

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis (17-11, 7-8 AAC) suffered a 3-1(25-19,25-18,25-22,25-14) loss to Temple (10-16, 4-11 AAC) on Friday evening.
The Owls pulled out to a 2-0 lead, holding the Tigers to .98 hitting percentage during the first two sets. In the third, Memphis outplayed Temple, hitting .303 compared to Temple's .258. Service erroes for the Owls also assisted the Tigers third set win.
Temple rebounded on the fourth and final set, defeating the Tigers 25-14.
