No. 16 Memphis Hosts No. 6 Murray State on Senior Day

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The No. 16-ranked University of Memphis rifle team will host No. 6 Murray State on Senior Day on Saturday, Jan. 29 at the R.F. Fogelman Rifle Range in Memphis, Tenn.
The match is scheduled for a 9:15 a.m. CT start, with live targets available at GoTigersGo.com. The match will be Senior Day for both David Crenshaw and Mark Meyeraan.
The Tigers have faced one of the most difficult schedules in the country this season. Despite the team's 0-8 record, Memphis has shot well against No. 1 West Virginia, No.4 Ole Miss, No. 7 Navy, No. 9 Akron twice, No. 13 Kentucky, No. 14 NC State and No. 14 Army.
Murray State brings a record of 9-4 on the season to Memphis this Saturday. The Racers had won three-straight matches before dropping a 4741-4724 decision to No. 1 Kentucky on Jan. 22.
Angeline Henry leads the way for Memphis this season with team-best averages of 1165.50 in aggregate, 575.125 in smallbore and 590.375 in air rifle. Kaylene Castillo is second on the Tigers in both aggregate (1157.75) and air rifle (587.50), while Taylor Christian is second in small bore at 573.286.
