No. 6 Murray State Clips No. 16 Tigers on Senior Day

MEMPHIS, Tenn. –The No. 16-ranked University of Memphis rifle team fell in the team's final home match of the season to No. 6 Murray State, 4683-4643, on Saturday morning at the R.F. Fogelman Rifle Range in Memphis, Tenn.
The Racers edged the Tigers in smallbore, 2307-2303, and won air rifle, 2376-2340. With the loss, Memphis falls to 0-9 on the year, while Murray State improves to 10-4.
KEY MOMENTS
• Junior Angeline Henry paced the Tigers on Saturday morning, placing third overall. Henry posted season-best scores of 596 in air rifle and 1173 against Murray State.
• Sophomore Jack Kersey placed seventh overall with an aggregate score of 1159. He also shot a season-best 579 in smallbore for the Tigers.
• Sophomores Taylor Christian (1158 aggregate) and Kaylene Castillo (1153 aggregate) placed eighth and ninth, respectfully.
