Tigers Back in United Soccer Coaches National Poll at No. 22

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tigers (8-1-1, 2-0-0 AAC) have found themselves back in the top-25 in the nation following back-to-back wins against American Athletic Conference Opponents Temple and UCF. The Tigers come in at No. 22 in the United Soccer Coaches National Poll and No. 25 in the Top Drawer Soccer Rankings this week.
Following a 4-0 shutout of Temple to start AAC play, Memphis pulled off a 2-1 win over the Knights of UCF. Mackenzie Bray and Momo Nakao both scored their first goals of the season to help the Tigers get the win while Memphis' defense held the Knights to just two shots on-goal during the match.
Fellow AAC school SMU, who was ranked at No. 17 in last week's poll, moved up to No. 14 this week.

Memphis has a bye week this weekend and will be back in action next Thursday when they travel to Tulsa to face-off with the Golden Hurricane. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m. The Tigers will be back home on Sunday, October 10 when they host Cincinnati at 1 p.m.
