Jun 17, 2021 | Baseball
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis Tigers catcher Hunter Goodman has picked up two All-American honors as the 2021 collegiate baseball season approaches its conclusion. Goodman garnered Third Team All-American honors from both Baseball America and the NCBWA. These two honors bring his post-2021 season total to four, as he was named First Team All-Region by ABCA/Rawlings earlier this week and a Collegiate Baseball All-American in early June.

Goodman, who was named a Preseason All-American by both organizations, lived up to expectations during Memphis' 2021 campaign. The Arlington, Tenn. native led the American with 21 home runs, which tied the Memphis single-season record. Goodman led the conference in SLG% (.678), while his .307 batting average was 13th best in the conference. The All-American finished with 51 RBIs and 137 total bases, good for T-3 and solo-second in the conference respectively.
