Ian Bibiloni named to AAC Honor Roll

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – In addition to being a crucial part of the offense that earned Memphis a series split vs. Houston this past weekend, Ian Bibiloni was named to the AAC Honor roll.

Bibiloni was one of the top hitters in the American this weekend. In four games against the Cougars, Bibiloni went 8-17 with three doubles, a home run, and six RBIs. He slashed .471/.500/.824, good for a 1.324 OPS. He finished the weekend fourth in the conference in batting average and second in RBIs. On the season, Bibiloni has hit .253 with a .340 OBP. His 24 RBIs tie him for second on the team, while the outfielder is a perfect 9-9 in stolen base attempts.

The Tigers wrap up the regular season this weekend with four games in Wichita, Kan. vs. the Shockers. Memphis and Wichita State will play a doubleheader Thursday and a single game Friday and Saturday. The Tigers will then head to the AAC Championship, which gets underway May 25.
