No. 19 Tigers close home slate Sunday afternoon

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The 19th-ranked Memphis Tigers women's soccer team concludes the regular season Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m. against East Carolina. The Senior Day match at the Memphis Track and Soccer Complex will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Memphis (7-2, 5-1 AAC) has secured the number-two seed in the American Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Championship, which starts Thursday in Tampa, Fla., at the home site of top-seeded USF.
With a win Sunday, the Tigers would conclude a perfect home slate. Memphis has won its last 14 regular-season home games dating back to the end of the end of the 2018 campaign.
The Tigers will be recognizing the efforts of seniors Clarissa Larisey, Samantha Murphy and Lisa Pechersky, plus senior student-manager Maya Todd. The group has compiled a 52-15-4 record over the last four seasons, plus won the AAC tournament championship in 2018 and the AAC regular-season title in 2019.
Larisey, who hails from Ottawa, Canada, is tied for fourth in program history with 33 goals in 71 games played. Murphy, of Aurora, Ontario, Canada, has seven game-winning goals to her credit during her time in Memphis, and Pechersky has logged over 2,900 minutes as a Tiger. She is from Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
After Sunday's game, the AAC Tournament is on Thursday and Saturday at USF.
