No. 16 Memphis Faces No. 13 Kentucky on Sunday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The No. 16-ranked University of Memphis rifle team will head to Lexington, Ky. on Sunday, November 14 to face No. 13 Kentucky at the Barker Hall Rifle Range. The match is schedule to begin at 7:00 a.m. CT, with live targets available at GoTigersGo.com.
The Tigers have faced one of the toughest schedules in the nation so far this season. Despite the team's 0-4 record, Memphis has shot well against No. 1 West Virginia, No. 7 Navy, No 12 Akron and No. 14 NC State.
The Wildcats are 2-1 on the season after earning wins over Morehead State and at Navy to begin the year. On Nov. 6, UK fell to Ole Miss, 4675-4716. Before hosting the Tigers, Kentucky will shoot both Morehead State and Murray State on Saturday, Nov. 13.
Angeline Henry leads Memphis so far this season with average scores of 573.5 smallbore, 590.25 air rifle and 1163.75 aggregate. Kaylene Castillo is second on the team in all three categories with averages of 570 smallbore, 587.5 air rifle and 1157.5 aggregate. Taylor Christian is also averaging a 570 in smallbore for the Tigers.
