MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The No. 15-ranked University of Memphis rifle team will host No. 14 NC State on Sunday, October 31 at the R.F. Fogelman Rifle Range in Memphis, Tenn. Live targets for the match can be found at GoTigersGo.com.
The Tigers have faced one of the toughest schedules in the nation so far this season. Despite the team's 0-3 record, Memphis has shot well against No. 1 West Virginia, No. 7 Navy and No 12 Akron.
The Wolfpack (0-1) opened their season on Oct. 17, falling to then-ranked No. 2 West Virginia at home. NC State will face No. 4 Ole Miss in Oxford on Saturday, Oct. 30 before heading to Memphis.
Angeline Henry has led the Tigers so far this season, averaging team-best scores of 573.33 in smallbore, 590.33 in air rifle and 1163.67 aggregate.
Kaylene Castillo is averaging the second-best total in both air rifle (587.33) and aggregate (1155.00), while David Crenshaw is second-best in smallbore (569.67).
