MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The No. 16-ranked University of Memphis rifle team fell to No. 7 Navy, 4685-4627, in Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) action on Saturday at the R.F. Fogelman Rifle Range in Memphis, Tenn.
The Tigers (0-2, 0-2 GARC) posted team scores of 2282 in smallbore and 2345 in air rifle for an aggregate score of 4627. The Midshipmen (3-2, 1-1 GARC) had scores of 2307 in smallbore and 2378 in air rifle for an aggregate of 4685.
KEY MOMENTS
• David Crenshaw led the Tigers on Saturday, finishing fifth as an individual with team-best scores of 575 in smallbore, 590 in air rifle and an aggregate of 1165.
• Jack Kersey was placed seventh individually with totals of 574 in smallbore, 581 in air rifle and an aggregate of 1155.
• Taylor Christian and Angeline Henry placed ninth and 10th individually with aggregate scores of 1150 each. Christian posted scores of 572 in smallbore 578 in air rifle, while Henry had totals of 560 in smallbore and 590 in air rifle.
