Davidson earns first career Weekly Honor Roll nod

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – For the first time in her career, senior third baseman Sara Ann Davidson has earned a spot on the American Athletic Conference Weekly Honor Roll for her efforts this past weekend at the Paradise Classic hosted by Hawai'i.

Davidson led Memphis during the week with a .455 batting average and .909 slugging percentage. She recorded the first Memphis home run of the 2020 campaign and finished the weekend going 5-for-11 with two doubles, a home run and three walks drawn.

She also led Memphis with a .571 on-base percentage. She finished with two putouts and seven assists at third base and was second on the team with four RBI.

Memphis returns to action this weekend with a trip to Fort Myers, Fla. for the Florida Gulf Coast Invitational. The Tigers are set to take on UIC and Arkansas on Feb. 14, Furman and Florida Gulf Coast on Feb. 15 and UIC again on Feb. 16.
