No. 18 Memphis travels to Mississippi State Sunday

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following its second consecutive shutout, No. 18 Memphis women's soccer embarks on its third road match of the season as the Tigers travel to Mississippi State on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on SEC Network+.

Five Things To Know About Memphis
- Memphis checked in at No. 18 in this week's United Soccer Coaches poll and are receiving votes in the TopDrawerSoccer poll. It marks the seventh straight week that the Tigers have been ranked, dating back to Week 10 of last season.
- Senior Stasia Mallin, junior Elizabeth Moberg and senior Serena Dolan claimed league honors this week as a part of the AAC Players of the Week list. Mallin was named the AAC Defensive Player of the Week, Moberg claimed Goalkeeper of the Week accolades and Dolan was listed to the weekly Honor Roll.
- The Tigers downed North Texas 1-0 on Friday at Park Avenue Campus. Sophomore Kimberley Smit's goal in the ninth minute of play was all that a persistent Memphis offense required to preserve its second straight clean sheet.

MaKayla Waldner leads the Bulldog offense with five of the team's 11 goals. In net, Gabby English has logged all 450 minutes for MSU. The grad transfer has made 16 saves on the season and holds an 84.2 save percentage.
