Goodman recognized as Freshman All-American by Baseball America, D1Baseball

Rookie totals five Freshman All-America accolades
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Notching his fourth and fifth postseason All-America honors, Memphis baseball rookie Hunter Goodman was named to Baseball America's and D1Baseball's Freshman All-America teams, the organizations announced Friday.
In addition to Baseball America (first team) and D1Baseball (second team), Goodman earned Freshman All-America recognition from Collegiate Baseball, NCBWA and Perfect Game earlier this month.
Goodman is the first rookie in program history to earn Freshman All-American accolades from multiple outlets. He was also named the American Athletic Conference's Newcomer Position Player of the year and earned first-team All-AAC honors at the end of the regular season.
The Arlington, Tenn., native paced the Tigers' offense this spring. The rookie led the squad in batting average (.326), runs (51), hits (78), doubles (16), triples (2), home runs (13) and RBI (67). He also swiped 11 bases in 12 attempts. His 67 runs batted in are tied for second all-time in the program's single-season history.
In conference rankings, Goodman finished the season ranked in the top 10 in The American in hits, runs, homers, RBI, total bases and slugging percentage. His 67 RBI led the league and also rank second all-time in The American's single-season history.
Goodman had amassed 66 RBI at the end of the regular season, which led his classmates nationally. By regular-season's end, Goodman also ranked second nationally in total bases with 134, while his 76 hits total ranked third among freshmen.
