Ouellette named to The American's Weekly Honor Roll

Senior hit .476 with six RBI in five games
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Becoming one of the hottest hitters in the Memphis lineup, senior Kyle Ouellette was named to The American's Weekly Honor Roll, the league office announced Monday afternoon.
Over the Tigers' five games last week, Ouellette hit .476 (10-for-21), posted a .571 slugging percentage and added two doubles and six RBI. The senior also drew three walks and stole a pair of bases.
Ouellette had multiple-hit efforts in four of the five contests and enjoyed a 4-RBI performance in the Tigers' 12-7 win at UCF on Saturday.
Last week's numbers are indicative of his turnaround in the month of April. Ouellette posted a .203 average through the first two months of the season, but has raised that figure to .307 this month.
The Johnson City, Tenn., native has led the team with a .440 average in April with three doubles, a home run and 12 RBI. His 12 RBI are four times more than he produced in February and March, while he has also raised his on-base percentage from .261 to .517 during the month.
Ouellette and the Tigers return to FedExPark on Tuesday to host Arkansas State with first pitch slated for 6 p.m.
