Tigers to Honor Seniors Against Tulsa Saturday

Memphis’ three seniors will be celebrated during home finale
MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's basketball team hosts its final home game of the year against Tulsa Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. At approximately 12:45 p.m., the Tigers will be honoring the Memphis senior class of Breigha Wilder-Cochran, Brea Elmore, and Cheyenne Creighton and the successes they have had during their Tiger careers.

Memphis will wrap up its home schedule by playing a Tulsa squad that is tied for 10th with the Tigers in the American Athletic Conference standings. Although coming off of a loss Wednesday evening to UCF, Memphis celebrated Brea Elmore as her second quarter three-pointer marked her 1,000th point as a Memphis Tiger. Elmore finished the game with a team-high 12 points. Taylor Barnes and Alana Davis led the way on the boards, grabbing five apiece.

- Freshman Alana Davis scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds against the Knights off the bench, while adding three steals and a block. She is fifth on the team in scoring at 5.6 points per contest, and she ranks first among freshmen in rebounds, with 97 on the year.
- Cheyenne Creighton leads the Tigers in rebounding, averaging 8.0 boards per game.
- Brea Elmore and Cheyenne Creighton lead Memphis offensively with 14.8 and 14.3 points per game, respectively. Both have started in every game for Memphis. Â
- Although she has missed the last 10 games to injury, Breigha Wilder-Cochran will end her Memphis career with 545 points, 331 rebounds, and 298 assists. As a freshman, Wilder-Cochran was named to the AAC All-Rookie team after setting the Memphis freshman single-season record of 125 assists.
