University of Memphis Athletics and City of Memphis Expand Toy Drive

Expanded drive will begin at Tiger football on Friday.
MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis and the City of Memphis announced that the annual Tiger Toy Drive will be expanded to include Tiger football and men's and women's basketball.
This partnership with the Mayor and the City of Memphis has been a long-standing effort to provide toys for those in need in the Memphis area, and with the addition of football and women's basketball events, the reach and scope will be vastly improved.
The Tiger Toy Drive will begin with the Memphis vs. Houston football game on Friday, Nov. 23 at 11 a.m. A donation truck will be available on Tiger Lane at the Early Maxwell intersection starting at 7:30 a.m. Fans are strongly encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to donate to the cause.
The women's basketball game against Samford on Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. will be the next event and all fans that bring a new, unopened toy will receive free admission to that game.
There will be two Tiger Toy Drive events for men's basketball. The home basketball games vs. UAB on Dec. 8 at noon and vs. Tennessee on Dec. 15 at 11 a.m. will conclude the 2018 Tiger Toy Drive.
