Saturday's victory over Tulsa proved to be a memorable day for the Memphis women's basketball team as senior Cheyenne Creighton became the 24th member of the 1,000-point club at Memphis. Creighton entered into the game just eight points shy of reaching the milestone and finished with a team-high 22 in the victory.
The win at Tulsa also marked the sixth win in the last eight games for Memphis. The Tigers look to continue that momentum against USF, a team they have defeated at home the last two seasons. Entering into Wednesday's game against USF, here are some tidbits to know about the Memphis women's basketball team:
A Look At USF
USF comes into the Wednesday night's ESPN3 game with a 14-4 overall record and 4-1 mark in American Athletic Conference play. The Bulls have won their last two contests and the last three on the road.

Entering into Wednesday's game against USF, here are some tidbits to know about the Memphis women's basketball team:
- With 19 points against Tulsa and a team-leading 21.0 ppg during conference play, it appears Memphis could be celebrating two 1,000-point scorers this season as Brea Elmore is now just 139 points away. Elmore would become the 25th member of the Memphis 1,000-point club if she reaches the milestone.
- Freshman guard Jada Stinson had a career day against the Golden Hurricane, posting a career-high 15 points while pulling down four rebounds in 38 minutes played. It was her second start this season and in her two starts, the Tigers are undefeated.
- Memphis currently sits in sixth place in the American Athletic Conference, just half a game behind Houston, Cincinnati, and UCF for third.
- A Memphis victory would improve the Tigers to 8-10 on the year and 3-2 in American Athletic Conference play. A win against the Bulls would be the third-straight victory at the Elma Roane Fieldhouse against USF and wins in three out of the last five meetings. A win against USF would also be the Tigers' seventh win in the last nine games this season.
