Tigers Track And Field Senior Salute: Destinee Lansden

Senior has 29 career top-three finishes in sprints, relays.
Over the next two weeks, University of Memphis men's and women's track and field/cross country are celebrating the program's 11 seniors with a salute to each.

"Destinee has been one of our standouts in the 400 meters and on our relays in her career. She has a tremendous attitude and great work ethic. Destinee always is very positive and upbeat. She is one of those athletes I've really enjoyed coaching."

- Primarily competed in the 200 and 400 meters and the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays
- Making her eighth American Athletic Conference Championships appearance this weekend (four indoor/four outdoor)
- Ran a career-best 54.84 in the 400 meters at the 2016 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships (preliminaries)
- Recorded her top finish in the 400 meters at the 2016 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships, placing seventh
- Top relay finishes at the American Athletic Conference Championships both were fourth-place performances in the indoor (2015) and outdoor (2015) meets
- Logged her top time in the outdoor 200 meters (24.87) at the 2015 Auburn War Eagle Invitational
- Ran an indoor personal-best in the 200 meters (24.81) at the 2014 Southern Miss Cupid Classic
- Has 29 career top-three finishes in the sprints and relays
- Logged a double-winner performance at the 2017 Arkansas State Red Wolves Open, taking titles in the 400 meters and 4x100 meter relay
- Top indoor performances were  first-place finishes in the 400 meters at the 2015 LSU Tiger Invitational and 2015 Vanderbilt Opener
- Best outdoor 400-meter finishes were first-place performances at the 2016 Memphis Tiger Invitationals and 2017 Arkansas State Red Wolves Open
- Top 4x400 meter relay finish was a first-place performance at 2016 Vanderbilt Black and Gold Invitational
- Best 4x100 meter relay was a first-place finish at the 2017 Arkansas State Red Wolves Open
