UCF comes into the game having won four of its last six games, with two wins each over East Carolina and USF.
In the team's last game, a 75-60 loss at Tulsa on January 24, Justin McBride scored 15 points for the Knights, who had nine different players reach the scoring column. Tacko Fall scored four points while pulling down 10 rebounds and blocking two shots.
Leading the team this season has been A.J. Davis who has started all 17 games, and averages 13.3 points per game, with Adonys Henriquez adding a 10.4 point per game average. Shaheed Davis (8.7), Fall (7.8), McBride (7.8), Daiquan Walker (7.4), and Matt Williams (7.1) each average over seven points per game.
Davis is the team leader in rebounds, averaging 5.8 per contest, with Fall just off the pace with a 5.4 rebound per game average. Walker and Davis lead the team with 66 and 57 assists, while Fall leads the team with 35 blocked shots.

Three days after meeting Oscar Robertson - the only player to average a triple-double over a single season in the NBA - following the game at Cincinnati, Burrell scored 13 points while pulling down 10 rebounds and dishing out nine assists. The last Memphis triple-double came when Antonio Anderson had 12 points, 10 rebounds, and 13 assists. The other two triple-doubles in program history came from Penny Hardaway in back-to-back games on January 4 and 6 during the 1993 season.
Including last season's win at UCF, the Memphis Tigers have won their last three overtime games. The last Memphis overtime loss came on February 15, 2014 at Connecticut, before a February 22 overtime win against Temple started the new Tiger streak. Memphis played just one overtime game a season ago, a 75-65 win over Tuesday opponent UCF, while taking down the Ohio State Buckeyes in extra time earlier this season in Miami.
