Tigers Look to Extend Win Streak on Saturday

SCOUTING MEMPHIS
Memphis comes into the game looking to extend its win streak to three after back-to-back wins over Ohio State (81-76, ot) and Louisiana Tech (94-68), with the latter of the two receiving votes in the most recent Associated Press poll.
In the team's win over Louisiana Tech, the Tigers got a game-high 19 points from senior Ricky Tarrant Jr., while Shaq Goodwin scored 18 points to go with his 12 rebounds. Avery Woodson and Markel Crawford each tallied 13 points, while Trahson Burrell picked up his own double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. The two players with a double-double last happened last season on January 17 against UCF.
For the season the team is led by Dedric Lawson who averages 13.8 points and 8.2 rebounds per game. Tarrant Jr. averages 13.3 points and three assists per contest, while Goodwin scored 13.2 points per game and leads the team with a 9.0 rebound per game average. Two players - Woodson and Burrell - are each on the cusp of a double-figure scoring average at 9.7 and 9.2 points per game, each.
SCOUTING THE REDHAWKS
Southeast Missouri State comes into the game looking for its first win of the 2015-16 season after falling 74-50 to the Southern Illinois Salukis on Wednesday, December 2.
In the loss to SIU, Ladarius Coleman scored 10 points off of the bench to lead the team, while Antonius Cleveland and Trey Kellum each scored nine points. Cleveland pulled down a team-best six rebounds, while Marcus Wallace dished out four assists.
For the season the team is led by Cleveland who averages 12.3 points per game, while Kellum pours in 10.3 per contest. Joel Angus III is just off of the double-figure scoring pace with a 9.3 point per game average. Coleman pulls down a team-leading 6.5 rebounds per game, while Angus III averages 6.0 boards per contest for a squad that is out-rebounded by an average of 3.5 rebounds per game. Wallace has dished out a team-best 22 assists, while he and Angus III lead the team with eight steals.

Josh Pastner and the Memphis Tigers have faced off against 10 of the 12 current members of the Ohio Valley Conference, , including 61 all-time meetings with Murray State. During Pastner's seven-year tenure, he has an 11-1 all-time record against teams in the league, while Memphis is 110-65 all-time against the 12 schools that currently comprise the league.
