- Ryan Holland picked off his Conference USA leading eighth runner of the season in the first inning. Holland and the Tiger pitching staff lead the league with 15 pickoffs.
- Jacob Wilson hit his fourth home run of the season and he has 12 career home runs.
- Chad Zurcher walked and had a bunt single in his first two plate appearances and has reached base two or more times in 26 of 30 games this season.
- All nine batters in the Memphis lineup recorded hits and that is the fourth time this season that the Tigers have accomplished that feat.
- The 16 runs scored are the most runs Memphis has scored in a conference game since the Tigers scored 21 runs at Marshall last season.
