Tigers Place 172 Student-Athletes on Tiger 3.0 Club

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - - The University of Memphis had 172 student-athletes post a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the spring semester to earn a spot on the Tiger 3.0 Club. Football led the way with 27 honorees, while women's soccer (25) and baseball (23) each had over 20 honorees.
For the team awards, men's tennis was recognized for having the highest team GPA. The Tiger tennis team had eight of its 10 team members post a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the spring. The women's team award went to the Lady Tiger golf program, who had six of its seven team members post a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the spring.
