Nashville, Tenn. - The women's cross country team placed 18th out of 25 teams at the 2001 Vanderbilt Cross Country Invitational this weekend. The Lady Tigers were 12th out of 14 Division I schools. Nora Nemere was the Lady Tigers' top finisher at 71st with a time of 21:04 over the 5K course. Wendy Ragle placed 76th with a time of 21:12. Other finishers for Memphis were Hayley Futrell (109th), Leslie Daley (136th) and Ashley Williams (231st). The Lady Tigers travel to Jonesboro this weekend to compete at Arkansas State.
