Stephen L. Brown, founder and lead pastor of Light of Glory International Church (LOGIC), is the team chaplain for the Tigers men's basketball team.
Brown has a deep appreciation for Tigers basketball. He was born and raised in Memphis, Tenn., where he played AAU basketball and served as point guard for Hamilton High School.
After high school, Brown played Division I college basketball for Idaho State University. He graduated from Idaho State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education.
Upon completing his education at ISU, Brown became a teacher and earned his Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Freed-Hardeman University. After several years in the classroom, Brown founded Stephen Brown Ministries (SBM) and Light of Glory International Church (LOGIC), where he currently serves as pastor.
In addition to serving in his community and being the team chaplain for the Memphis basketball team, Brown enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
