Braxton Brady is in his fourth year serving in the role of team chaplain for the University of Memphis football team.Â
Brady, a University of Memphis graduate and Bluff City native, serves as Chaplain and the Director of the Building Boys, Making Men Program at Presbyterian Day School (PDS), an independent school located just blocks from the UM campus. PDS serves over 630 boys in grades PK-6.Â
Prior to joining the staff at PDS in 2004, Brady served as Bible teacher, athletic director and assistant principal at Central Day School in Collierville.

In addition to his University of Memphis degree, Brady completed his Master’s of Theological Studies degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in 2013.
Brady has served on the boards of various inner city ministries in Memphis. He is a graduate of the Emerging Leaders Program, which helps disciple and develop spiritual leaders in the city of Memphis. He is also the founder of Strategic Dads, a ministry that seeks to provide fathers with practical ways to disciple their sons and lead their families.Â
Brady and his wife Carrie have three children, Preston, Bennett and Emma Sanders. They are members of Harvest Memphis Church.Â
