Andrew Schnoebelen begins his fifth year on Ryan Silverfield’s staff at Memphis, his fourth year as Director of Football Operations after previously serving as the Assistant Director of Football Operations during the 2020 season.
Schnoebelen comes to the Tigers after serving on the staff at Missouri Southern State University as Director of Football Operations for the 2019 season. Prior to Missouri Southern State, Schnoebelen spent six seasons at The University of Iowa where he was student manager as an undergrad and then went on to be a graduate assistant under Hawkeyes coach Kirk Ferentz.
During his tenure, Iowa reached six bowl games, including the 2014 Outback Bowl, the 2015 Taxslayer Bowl, the 2016 Rose Bowl, the 2017 Outback Bowl, the 2018 Pinstripe Bowl and the 2019 Outback Bowl where the Hawkeyes were winners in the last two.
Schnoebelen was part of the historic 2015 season where Iowa was 12-0 in the regular season and were the Big Ten West Champions, winning the most games in a single-season at Iowa.
A native of Iowa City, Iowa, Schnoebelen has a BS degree in civil engineering from Iowa and a MA degree in sport and recreation management, also from Iowa.
