Battled injuries almost all season, appearing only once in the circle … pitched 0.2 innings against conference opponent Wichita State, giving up one hit and one walk.
2017: (R-Junior): Pitched in 29 games for the Tigers, starting in 21 games … threw 14 complete games, which was tied for the team-high … led the team with 108 strikeouts … tied a career-high with nine wins for the year … led the team with three saves … was a large part of a pitching staff that finished second in school history for fewest home runs allowed (20).
2016 (R-Sophomore): Was named the American Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week on May 2, 2016 … appeared in 13 games and carried a 3.78 ERA in 63.0 total innings pitched with a 4-5 record … finished with four complete games and two shutouts … struck out 41 batters and held opponents to a .283 batting average.
2015 (Sophomore): Missed her sophomore campaign due to injury ... Named to the American All-Academic Team.
2014 (Freshman): Appeared in 28 games and made 19 starts in the circle for the Tigers ... Also made a start in the field once ... Finished 9-10 with four complete games in 107.2 innings ... She struck out 81 batters and walked 58, giving up only 59 earned runs ... She led the team in opposing batting average (.257) and won-loss percentage (.474).
Prep: A four-year letterwinner in softball at Nevada High School for coach Tammy Holcomb ... Was a three-time all-state performer, a four-time all-dsirtict performer, and a three-time team most valuable player selection ... Helped her team win the 2010 state championship ... Pitched in 96 career games at Nevada and had 804 strikeouts and 10 no-hitters to go along with a 67-24 record and a 0.88 career ERA ... Selected to the school's honor roll in all four years, and was also a four-time scholar athlete selection.
